This is a 200mm long piece of 40 way rainbow ribbon wire with the ends of each wire terminated in a female socket. They are ideal for jumpering one PCB to another or connecting LEDs to PCBs so they can be easily removed. Of course, being ribbon cable, you can split the cable into as many pieces as you like, even down to 40 separate single wires.
